French and English Dovetail Drawer Construction
All case pieces utilize French and English dovetailing. Because of its superior strength, French (sliding) dovetails (shown above at left) are used to attach the drawer front to the sides. The rear of the drawer is then joined to the sides using English dovetailing (shown above at right). Both are further secured with glue for a rigid, permanent bond.

Full Dustproofing
Full picture frame dustproofing not only protects items in the drawer and increases the rigidity of the piece, but also helps assure that opening and closing drawers will always be smooth and effortless.

Solid Wood End Panels
Our solid wood end panels extend from the top of the case piece to the floor to increase the strength of the case. Decorative framing on tops and bottoms of furniture can be replaced without affecting the construction of the piece.

Glued Wooden Dowels
The connecting point of the headboard panel to the bed post, as in other major stress points of our furniture, is reinforced with glued wooden dowels. The proven method of furniture joinery is used for added strength and durability.

Floating Headboard Battens
Large headboard panels feature wood battens which provide support while permitting the wood panel to expand and contract without warping.
